IBRIDE X THYSSEN

IBRIDE x THYSSEN

  • The fusion of tradition and innovation, the ibride maison and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid have come together in a visionary collaboration.
The French design house, known for its bold and imaginative creations, has joined forces with the largest private art collection in Europe to showcase its artistic prowess. At the invitation of the museum, ibride was given free rein to interpret classical paintings in a contemporary style. The museum opened its doors, offering its rich collection as a canvas for Rachel Convers, who was free to reinterpret the paintings of her choice. For the creative direction of this creative process, I was tasked with documenting the creative process as the artist interacted with the classic art pieces displayed in the museum.collection as a canvas for Rachel Convers, who was free to reinterpret the paintings of her choice into the soon iconic Yuan Eden.
I documented the creative process as the artist interacted with the classic art pieces displayed in the museum. Also creating a unique visually striking storytelling window display that effectively showcased the artwork and its significance within the museum boutique for 6 months. I was responsible for the set design of the Press Launch event at the museum. The result was a highly successful event leading to the creation of a sales and marketing special offer which received positive feedback from our retail partners on Maison et Objet fair for over two years.
