This collection showcases a diverse range of collages, paintings, and handwoven textile designs that experiment with mineral structure and UV light. The use of fluorescent light provides valuable insights for geologists and other scientists in their work, revealing the intricate structures of minerals. By exciting certain elements within the mineral, this lighting method causes them to emit light and provide a unique insight into the mineral's formation and properties. The objective of this project is to highlight the natural fluorescence of elements within minerals and transform the color palette into a mesmerizing, galaxy-like blue hue, illuminating the composition and geometry of stones.
