"Falling in Rain" is the first piece of the "Grain Sonore" project which is envisioned as a parallel sensory appreciation of rain. Here, Sound and Music are considered as a sensory matter emanating from the transcription of a physical natural phenomenon. A musical transposition of the random distribution formula of raindrops. The visualization and transcription work was established from a two-dimensional in situ capturing device directly altered by rain, akin to a traditional score with only the sensitivity and technique of the performer as the limit.
